POSITION SUMMARY

A Japanese company dedicated to enriching people's lifestyles is seeking a strategic Human Resources Manager to strengthen its HR department in response to organizational growth.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Human Resources Management

  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, employee development, and offboarding processes

  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute talent strategies

  • Support employee productivity and alignment with company mission

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Manage compensation, benefits, leave, performance reviews, training, and employee relations

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and update HR policies accordingly

 

Additional Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with IT teams and external vendors to improve internal systems

  • Lead hiring strategy and monitor progress across departments

  • Stay informed about industry and market trends

  • Drive special projects such as M&A or organizational restructuring

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in HR management or related field

  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Hands-on experience with HRIS and talent management platforms

  • Speaking, Reading, Listening Japanese 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM, PHR)

  • Understanding of retail operations, marketing, e-commerce, and corporate functions

  • Experience reporting to international headquarters

WORK STYLE

  • Monday to Thursday: In-office work required during core hours (10:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
